On May 3, 2001 at NJ State Bureau of Vital Statistics a certificate of Birth was located with the help of Marie Merico resident genealogist. The family did not name Lawrence Beetle immediately, the certificate says Not Named, white, male, date of birth Oct 17th 1883. Interesting because October 18, 1883 is used for his birthday and his official death certificate indicates date of death Feb 3, 1919, place for date of birth has a dash age is given 35 years, 3 months, 19 days. His father is named Henry Bittle and mother is Annie E. Wilser. Both parents are shown to born in the USA and age 33. This make makes them born in 1850. No date found yet.

Miss Emma Youmans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Youmans of 107 Pacific street, was married to Mr. Lawrence Beetle, at 8 o'clock, Wednesday evening, in the parsonage of the Sixth Presbyterian Church, by Rev. Dr. Lusk. Miss Emily M. White was maid of honor and Mr. William B. Hufnagel, best man. The bride wore a hansome goen of white silk mull and carried white roses. Miss White's costume was of cedar green batisto and she carried pink roses. The wedding dinner was served at De Jianne's. Mr and Mrs. Beetle will reside at 6 Warwick street. (Newark, NJ)
