The Star - Ledger Monday, May 6, 1985 Death Notice GREENHALGH - William Henry 7th, 73, of Brick Township, on Saturday, May 4, 1985 at the Point Pleasant Hospital, beloved husband of the former Lois Beetle, devoted father of William Henry 8th and Mrs. Lois Patricia Levesen, grandfather of six, great-grandfather of one. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service Monday 7 p.m. at The COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 2170 Highway 88, Brick Township. Masonic service 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Burial Tuesday 11 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside.

W. Greenhalgh Services for William Henry Greenhalgh 7th, 73, of Brick Township will be held at 7 p.m. today in the Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick Township.
Mr. Greenhalgh died Saturday in the Point Pleasant Hospital.
He was a maintenance mechanic for the Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, for many years before retiring in 1969. During World War II, Mr. Greenhalgh served with the Pacific Fleet as a chartographer for the Navy's underwater demolition team. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Arrowhead Post 5698, Brick Township.
Mr. Greenhalgh was captain of the Ho Hum Fishing Charter in Brick Township. He also served as captain of several fleets in Brielle and Point Pleasant. He was a 32d degree mason and a member if Triune Lodge 159 of Kearny and the Crescent Temple of Trenton.
Born in Newark, he lived in East Orange before moving to Brick Township 30 years ago.
Mr. Greenhalgh is survived by his wife, Lois; a son, William Henry 8th; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Patricia Levensen; six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

The above Star - Ledger notices were copied from that new paper 9 January 2003 as the paper was yellowing from age. Hopefully, this will make a better preservation in honor of my father. The numbers after the names 7th and 8th are incorrect as further research revealed but my son William Henry took to adding the 9th to the end of his name when writing as "IX". Moreover, spelling in the articles are transferred as written and not noted [sic].
